Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe
Installation
To enjoy your Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe for as long as possible, it is very important that it is mounted properly. We strongly recommend installing the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe just above ground level to prevent it from getting damp for long periods of time. Moisture can cause discolouration and mould on the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe over time.
To attach a Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe to a wooden fence or wall, first drill 4 mm holes through the bamboo poles. Pre-drilling with a 4-mm drill is necessary here, as the bamboo may otherwise crack. Do this every +/- 20 cm and screw down the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe with 4 x 40 mm screws. Screw the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe to both the top and bottom for maximum stability. For fixing the bamboo fence roll to a wall, plugs are often used for the screws.
If the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe is secured to a mesh panel, it is best to do this with tie-wraps or binding threads. These can be tied around the iron wire of the bamboo fence roll every +/- 20 cm. Again, attach the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe both at the top and bottom for maximum stability.
Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe
Cut to size
The width of the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe can be easily adjusted by cutting the iron wires. Be sure to cut two poles beyond the desired width while cutting. Then remove the two outer poles from the Bamboo Mat Deluxe and bend the steel wires back over.
The height of the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe can also be adjusted. Only cut from the bottom of the mat and preferably not beyond the steel wires. This could reduce the strength of the mat. When cutting the Bamboo Fence Roll Deluxe, use a Japanese Saw, which has a sharp blade with fine teeth. Cover the bamboo sticks with tape on the saw edge before sawing to avoid splintering. Saw slowly and preferably cut by hand.
Bamboo
Features
Sustainable
Bamboo is one of the most underrated raw materials. Bamboo is sustainable, renewable, grows relatively quickly and its natural beauty makes it unique.
Strong
Bamboo is as strong as steel and has greater tensile strength. This is due to the hard surface and parallel fiber bundles of the bamboo stalks that are close together.
Elastic
Bamboo has the advantage of being super elastic. It is so flexible that it returns to the starting position every time and does not deform after bending.
Versatile
Thanks to its high stability, bamboo easily lasts a lifetime. Hence, bamboo is increasingly used in public spaces, construction and as decking/terrace boards and fences.
