Bamboo

Features

Sustainable

Bamboo is one of the most underrated raw materials. Bamboo is sustainable, renewable, grows relatively quickly and its natural beauty makes it unique.

Strong

Bamboo is as strong as steel and has greater tensile strength. This is due to the hard surface and parallel fiber bundles of the bamboo stalks that are close together.

Elastic

Bamboo has the advantage of being super elastic. It is so flexible that it returns to the starting position every time and does not deform after bending.

Versatile

Thanks to its high stability, bamboo easily lasts a lifetime. Hence, bamboo is increasingly used in public spaces, construction and as decking/terrace boards and fences.

Bamboo Fence roll

Our bamboo fence rolls are naturally closed at the top, and the bamboo canes are attached together with galvanized steel wire in several places for added stability. In addition, all bamboo fence rolls are packaged in a convenient carrying bag with handles.

A split bamboo fence rolls can be shortened in height by sawing off the excess. Bamboo can splinter so be sure to use a sharp (Japanese) saw and, preferably, cut by hand. We recommend doing this at the bottom of the split bamboo fence rolls. It is also easy to adjust the width.

Choose the right size and add 3-4 split sticks. Cut the iron wires from top to bottom and remove the last slats. You will be left with several inches of wire that can easily be twisted back together to keep the bamboo fence rolls firmly together.

Need a size other than the standard? Fortunately, our bamboo fence rolls are easy to customize. The width of the bamboo fence rolls can be easily adjusted by cutting the iron wires. After cutting the iron wires, they can be bent over again. To adjust the height of the bamboo fence rolls Tonkin, you can cut the bamboo poles at the bottom and/or top. To do this, preferably use a saw blade with fine teeth (a Japanese saw). Before sawing, tape the bamboo posts on the cutting edge with strong tape to avoid splintering. Saw quietly and preferably by hand.
