What can you buy from Bamboo Import?
2. Do not thin the Bamboo Topcoat Caramel, as this may disturb the exact balance of the ingredients. Do not use a foam roller (this can cause air bubbles), but choose a high quality mohair roller, felt roller or long haired brush to apply the varnish. Use only tools with stainless steel or plastic parts. Clean the tools thoroughly with water before the product dries on the tools.
3. Spread Bamboo Topcoat Caramel evenly in strips or sections on the bamboo surface, avoiding differences in layer thickness. It is important to apply Bamboo Topcoat Caramel in a rich coat (about 8 m² per liter for the first coat, 10-12 m² per liter for the second coat). A saturated application provides better wetting, optimal flow and prevents rapid drying, allowing more time to roll out the paint evenly and create wet-on-wet bonds. Three coats are required for a fully protective paint system.
DRYING TIME Drying times are valid at a temperature of 20°C, a humidity of 65%, the indicated consumption and adequate ventilation. Lower temperatures and/or higher humidity may significantly slow down the drying time. Always wait until the previous coat is sufficiently dry before applying the next coat to avoid defects. Do not cover a fresh coat with foil, stucco, carpets or other coverings for the first two weeks and only dry clean the surface during this time.
Bamboo Topcoat Caramel is dust-dry after approx. 15 minutes, tack-free after approx. 30 minutes, thumb-proof after approx. 1 hour and recoatable after approx. 16 hours.
Do not apply Bamboo Topcoat Caramel at temperatures below 10°C, above 30°C and/or at a relative humidity of more than 85%. Ensure that the substrate temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point. If possible, shield from direct sunlight. Ensure sufficient ventilation to remove water vapor during the drying process.

Bamboo Benefits
With photosynthesis, bamboo extracts CO2 from the air and releases oxygen. Bamboo produces about 40% more oxygen than wood and absorbs up to 35% more CO2 than wood. That makes bamboo better for CO2 offsetting than wood.
