Bamboo screen Giant Black
Our bamboo fence Giant Black is made of 6-9 cm thick bamboo poles. These robust bamboo screens are available in various sizes as standard and can easily be shortened (both at the bottom and sides) if necessary. Placing several bamboo screens next to each other gives your garden an exotic and attractive look.
Giant fences are naturally closed at the top to avoid moisture and dirt getting into the bamboo canes. Multiple horizontal bamboo skewers ensure the stability of the bamboo screens.
Bamboo has the characteristic of vertical cracking. This can also happen with your Giant fence and is therefore a natural property of the material. Especially in the hot and dry months of the year, vertical cracks appear in bamboo. In humid and cold weather, the cracks are smaller. The cracking of bamboo does not affect the lifespan of the bamboo fence.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
After installing the screens, you can apply our Bamboo Protector, a specially developed colourless/transparent stain that protects bamboo from tarnishing and discolouration. Outdoors, bamboo will age and discolour, just like all natural materials. We therefore recommend treating bamboo annually, preferably in spring, with our Balck Bamboo Renovator, a specially developed stain that protects the bamboo and restores its colour.Black Bamboo Renovator is easy to apply to cleaned bamboo using a brush. When doing so, use thin layers and spread Black Bamboo Renovator well. For cleaning bamboo, you can use our Bamboo Cleaner. In case of persistent dirt / deposits, bamboo can also be sprayed with a high-pressure cleaner. But at a suitable distance to avoid damage.
A SHINY RESULT
An alternative maintenance product is also available. This is Bamboo Booster. Bamboo Booster is a natural oil that can easily be applied with a cloth. With this oil, you get a nice shiny result. The oil protects and nourishes the bamboo, but does not slow down the process of discolouration. Bamboo Booster can be applied several times a year for optimal results. The oil can only not be combined with our Protector and Renovator stain.
