This split bamboo fence roll is made of thin bamboo strips. These strips are +/- 1 cm wide by 3 mm thick and are joined together with galvanised steel wire. As standard, our split bamboo fence rolls are available in various sizes, but can easily be shortened in height and width if required.

This split bamboo fence roll is easy to attach to a metal fence or existing fence. Split bamboo fence roll are also a perfect option for affordable natural partitions at events and festivals.

While ordering, bear in mind that a split bamboo fence roll is not 100% sight-proof; if you do want a bit more privacy, we recommend double fixing the split bamboo fence roll for optimal density.

The lifespan of a split bamboo fence roll is on average 2 to 5 years, depending on where you place the split bamboo fence roll and the weather conditions.

Bamboo Benefits

With photosynthesis, bamboo extracts CO2 from the air and releases oxygen. Bamboo produces about 40% more oxygen than wood and absorbs up to 35% more CO2 than wood. That makes bamboo better for CO2 offsetting than wood.

More about Bamboo

Bamboo & Environment

The use of bamboo greatly reduces the greenhouse effect and climate change. Bamboo absorbs greenhouse gases and releases 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than an equivalent species of hardwood. This is due to its high growth rate and photosynthesis. Climate change has been an issue for several years, which is why bamboo could be included as a certified hardwood. Bamboo is also suitable for biomass production because it gives the second highest biomass on earth.
