Bamboo Fence Roll Regular
Installation
To enjoy your Bamboo Fence Roll Regular as long as possible, it is important that it is assembled properly. We recommend installing the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular just above ground level, so that it does not become damp for long periods of time. Moisture can cause discolouration and mould over time.
To attach a Bamboo Fence Roll Regular to a wooden fence or wall, first drill 4-mm holes through the bamboo poles. Pre-drilling with a 4-mm drill is important here, as the bamboo may otherwise crack. Do this every 20 cm or so and screw down the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular with 4 x 40 mm screws. Screw the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular to the top and bottom for maximum stability. For fixing the fence roll to a wall, plugs are often used for the screws.
If the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular is fastened to a mesh panel, it is best to do this with tie-wraps or binding threads. These can be tied around the iron wire of the fence roll every 20 cm or so. Also in this case, fasten the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular at the top and bottom for maximum stability.
Bamboo Fence Roll Regular
Cut to size
The width of the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular can be easily adjusted by cutting the iron wires. While cutting, make sure to cut two poles beyond the desired width. Then remove the two outer poles from the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular and bend the steel wires again.
The height of the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular can also be adjusted, just cut from the bottom of the mat and preferably not past the steel wires. This may actually make the mat less sturdy. When sawing the Bamboo Fence Roll Regular , use a sharp saw blade with fine teeth, such as a Japanese Saw. Before sawing, tape the bamboo sticks to the saw edge to avoid splintering during sawing. Saw slowly and cut preferably by hand.
Bamboo
Features
Sustainable
Bamboo is one of the most underrated raw materials. Bamboo is sustainable, renewable, grows relatively quickly and its natural beauty makes it unique.
Strong
Bamboo is as strong as steel and has greater tensile strength. This is due to the hard surface and parallel fiber bundles of the bamboo stalks that are close together.
Elastic
Bamboo has the advantage of being super elastic. It is so flexible that it returns to the starting position every time and does not deform after bending.
Versatile
Thanks to its high stability, bamboo easily lasts a lifetime. Hence, bamboo is increasingly used in public spaces, construction and as decking/terrace boards and fences.
