Bamboo Fence Roll Budget
Installation
To enjoy your Bamboo Fence Roll Budget for as long as possible, it is important to mount it properly. Please avoid direct contact with the ground. We recommend installing the fence roll just above the ground so that they do not remain damp for long periods of time. After all, this can cause discolouration and mould over time.
To fix a Bamboo Fence Roll Budget against a wooden fence or wall, drill 4 mm holes through the bamboo poles. Pre-drilling with a 4-mm drill is important here, as the bamboo may otherwise crack. Do this every +/- 20 cm and screw down the bamboo fence roll with 4 x 40 mm screws. Screw the Bamboo Fence Roll Budget to the top and bottom for maximum stability. For fastening to a wall, dowels are also often used.
If the Bamboo Fence Roll Budget is secured against a mesh panel, this is best done with tie-wraps or binding threads. These can be fastened around the iron wire of the fence roll every +/- 20 cm. Again, fasten the fence roll at the top and bottom for maximum stability.
Bamboo Fence Roll Budget
Cut to size
The width of the fence roll can be easily adjusted by cutting the iron wires. After cutting the iron wires, they can be bent again. While cutting, make sure you cut two poles further than the desired width. Then take off the two outer poles of the Bamboo Fence Roll Budget and bend the steel wires.
You can also adjust the height, if necessary, but only cut from the bottom of the fence roll and preferably not beyond the steel wires, as this can make the fence roll less sturdy. When sawing the Bamboo Fence Roll Budget, use a sharp saw blade with fine teeth (a Japanese Saw). Before sawing, tape the bamboo poles with strong tape on the saw edge to avoid splintering. Saw calmly and preferably by hand.
Bamboo
Features
Sustainable
Bamboo is one of the most underrated raw materials. Bamboo is sustainable, renewable, grows relatively quickly and its natural beauty makes it unique.
Strong
Bamboo is as strong as steel and has greater tensile strength. This is due to the hard surface and parallel fiber bundles of the bamboo stalks that are close together.
Elastic
Bamboo has the advantage of being super elastic. It is so flexible that it returns to the starting position every time and does not deform after bending.
Versatile
Thanks to its high stability, bamboo easily lasts a lifetime. Hence, bamboo is increasingly used in public spaces, construction and as decking/terrace boards and fences.
