A customer of ours had an idea to build a unique bamboo garden fence with sliding door at the entrance of his house for some time. He had his eye on our dark bamboo garden fence from the Giant collection and asked us if it was possible to make a sliding door to match. One of the requirements was that the bamboo sliding door should hang on a rail system so that it could "float" over a gravel path.
No sooner said than done, and after some calculations and drawings, we immediately set to work building a frame of brown-stained pine wood into which the dark bamboo garden screen could be hung. The corners of the wooden frame were reinforced with metal chair corners.
A few weeks later we received the photos of the final result, and I must say, the bamboo fence with sliding door looks great!

Hardwood garden posts and stainless steel mounting kits were used to install the bamboo fence, which was later topped with dark bamboo posts cut in half. A dark bamboo border was also added to the planting bed in the garden.
