Today is Sustainable Tuesday, a day when we all take a moment to think about how sustainable we are living. Sustainability is essential to take good care of the Earth. Forte Childcare paid attention to this during their "Garden of the Future", where the children learned about a sustainable future. A product such as bamboo fits in perfectly with this concept, which is why Bamboo Import Europe sponsored the furnishings for the multi-day event.

Gamification

An alarming IPCC Climate Report: how do we ensure that we stop global warming? With this in mind, Forte Kinderopvang and Hortus Alkmaar set out to make children aware of the problem by means of gamification. Game developer Studio Exp. cooperated in this. In this way, children are playfully confronted with this current issue. The creative, innovative ideas of children show that the possibilities are endless.

Through theatre plays, escaperoom elements, inspiring workshops and by going on research with others, the children discover more and more how the earth can be saved. Actors and workshop leaders guide the children in an inspiring and inquisitive way during these three days. Janouk Kelderman, known from TV, came to close the event on the third day and helped the children present their ideas.
