Unpeeled reed mat

Sale price120,00 zł
Dimensions:600cm x H80cm
Color:Natural
Quantity:

These inexpensive reed mats are made of unpeeled freshwater reeds. The reeds are approx. 2 to 4 mm wide and tied together per stem with iron wire.

The reed mats provide a warm appearance and create privacy on your veranda or balcony. As a temporary solution, reed mats are very suitable due to their relatively low price. Reed mats can be used in many ways and are mainly used as covering against existing fences, wire fences or on balconies and balustrades. Reed mats are also great for growing climbing plants against or for protecting your plants from frost. Our reed mats hold back about 3 degrees of frost.

Keep in mind that this reed mat is not sight-proof. If you do want a bit more privacy, we recommend double fixing the mats for optimal density.

The lifespan of a reed mat is on average 1 to 5 years, depending on where you place it and the weather conditions.

More about Bamboo

Bamboo & Environment

The use of bamboo greatly reduces the greenhouse effect and climate change. Bamboo absorbs greenhouse gases and releases 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than an equivalent species of hardwood. This is due to its high growth rate and photosynthesis. Climate change has been an issue for several years, which is why bamboo could be included as a certified hardwood. Bamboo is also suitable for biomass production because it gives the second highest biomass on earth.
