The Classic reed mats provide a warm appearance and create privacy on your veranda or balcony. As a temporary solution, the reed mat is very suitable due to its relatively low price. Reed mats can be used in many ways and are mainly used as covering against existing fences, wire fences or on balconies and balustrades. Reed mats are also great for growing climbing plants against or for protecting your plants from frost. Our reed mats hold back about 3 degrees of frost.
Keep in mind that this reed mat is not sight-proof. If you do want a bit more privacy, we recommend double fixing the mats for optimal density.
The lifespan of a reed mat is on average 2 to 8 years, depending on where you place it and the weather conditions.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
People often choose not to treat the reed mat and let it fade and age naturally. Our advice is to treat the reed mat with Bamboo Booster. This can be applied several times a year with a cloth for optimal results. Bamboo Booster nourishes and protects the reed.Sustainability is very important to us. Bamboo Benefits
With photosynthesis, bamboo extracts CO2 from the air and releases oxygen. Bamboo produces about 40% more oxygen than wood and absorbs up to 35% more CO2 than wood. That makes bamboo better for CO2 offsetting than wood.
