for a metamorphosis in any garden
Are you looking for a beautiful and cheaper bamboo fence for your garden? Then the Bamboo Fence Slats is for you. At Bamboo Import, choose easily from different colours and sizes and order easily via our webshop. We deliver quickly to your door in many countries in Europe.
Unlike bamboo fence rolls, bamboo fence panels are fixed panels whose bamboo poles are joined together using horizontal bamboo skewers. This ensures that Bamboo Fence Slats are sturdy and easy to install, including against an existing fence.
Are you building a new garden? Or perhaps you have an old fence you want to replace or clad? A Bamboo Fence Slats is then a very nice solution.
Bamboo Fence Slats
fit any garden
Bamboo is a natural product and bamboo poles are naturally closed at the top. So there is no need to place a cover slat at the top. Furthermore, a Bamboo Fence Slats is easy to customise.
Do you have an existing neighbour's fence to take into account? No problem, it is also quite possible to place the Bamboo Fence Slats against an existing fence. With a Bamboo Fence Slats, the garden immediately gets a beautiful and especially summery look.
Because we produce all our Bamboo Fence Slats ourselves in Indonesia, we can always guarantee the best quality at a very good price.
Bamboo
Features
Sustainable
Bamboo is one of the most underrated raw materials. Bamboo is sustainable, renewable, grows relatively quickly and its natural beauty makes it unique.
Strong
Bamboo is as strong as steel and has greater tensile strength. This is due to the hard surface and parallel fiber bundles of the bamboo stalks that are close together.
Elastic
Bamboo has the advantage of being super elastic. It is so flexible that it returns to the starting position every time and does not deform after bending.
Versatile
Thanks to its high stability, bamboo easily lasts a lifetime. Hence, bamboo is increasingly used in public spaces, construction and as decking/terrace boards and fences.

To enjoy your screen as long as possible, it is important that it is mounted properly. It is important to avoid direct contact with the ground. We recommend that the bamboo screens just barely touch the ground, so that they do not become waterlogged for long periods of time. After all, over time, this can cause discolouration and mould.
To attach a bamboo slatted screen to a wooden fence or wall, drill 4-mm holes through the horizontal bamboo slats running behind the screen. Note, pre-drilling is important here as the bamboo may otherwise crack. Do this every four bamboo slats and screw down the bamboo fence with 4 x 40 mm screws. Screw the bamboo fence parts to the top and bottom for maximum stability. For fixing to a wall, dowels are often used as well.
If the bamboo lattice screen is secured against a mesh panel, it is best to do this with tie-wraps or iron wire around the four bamboo slats.
CUSTOMISE BAMBOO SCREENS
Need a size other than the standard sizes? Fortunately, our bamboo screens are easy to shorten.
The width of the bamboo screen can easily be adjusted by untying the palm rope and cutting the cross slats to the desired size. After this, tie the palm rope back together and place the fence in the desired position.
To adjust the height of the bamboo slat fence, you can saw off the bamboo slats at the bottom and/or top. To do this, preferably use a saw blade with fine teeth (a Japanese saw). Before sawing, tape the bamboo slats with sturdy tape on the saw edge to avoid splintering. Saw calmly and preferably by hand.
